Bottoms Up girls and boys – but sorry, not of your favourite alcoholic beverage (that’s a topic for another day). WATER…H20 and lots of it! I know, I know – we’ve heard it all before, but do you know WHY it’s so important (aside from the obvious dehydration issue)? Here are a few good reasons why you should drink more water.

  1. Drinking Water is the #1 WEIGHT LOSS SECRET…..it has no calories, sugars or fats!
  2.  It’s a great way to quench your thirst anytime/anywhere – without adding centimetres to your waistline.
  3. Many people misread the signs of thirst for hunger. So if you’re feeling “snacky” go for the H20 before the goodies to go. It will fill that empty spot and you won’t tend to binge on naughty foods.
  4. Water is the ONLY thing that will eliminate wastes from your body….and when I say wastes, I don’t just mean the obvious kind – think toxins and other nasties as well, all which if not eliminated from your body always seem to make their way to your waistline, hips and thighs!


How Much/How Often? The general rule of thumb is about 1-1.5 Ltrs of water for every 30Kg of bodyweight – so if you weigh 60Kg you should be downing 2 – 2.5 Ltrs a day.

    I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and leaving comments.
    But so what, it was still worth it!
